Stefanie Smith. B.A (Hons) PGCE
Inspired by nature and a severe case of wanderlust, i am an avid collector of moments, often found taking far too many photographs and using them as inspiration for my artwork.
I originally trained as an Art teacher 20 years ago and I blame this for my love of nearly every medium and technique that I come into contact with. This love means that I often find it incredibly difficult to stick to just one....something that I am learning to embrace.
My current work is inspired by my seasonal surroundings and natures treasures, found on walks near my Surrey home, with my Chocolate Labrador, Flo. I am thoroughly enjoying exploring the printmaking processes: etchings, mezzotints and linocut, as well as drawing and painting.
